Polaroids, digital photos
If you would like to apply as a WIMA | MODEL, we need some recent Polas from you. Polas, also known as Polaroids or Digitals, are natural pictures of you taken against a neutral background. It is important that the pictures are taken in good lighting so that we can see you and all your details clearly. You should also wear close-fitting clothing in Polas so that we and our customers can see your body shape. Please do not wear any conspicuous accessories (no jewellery, no belts) and definitely no branded clothing on Polas. Polas show you in your natural "raw state", i.e. the pictures must not be retouched, edited or filtered. Polas are also always taken without make-up and unstyled. We and our customers want to see your skin and hair texture. Cheating is not allowed and will be noticed at the latest during the on-site appointment. We like you just the way you are.
Portraits
Good Polas always include an attractive close-up shot showing your face up close. We love to see your eyes, your skin and your teeth. Feel free to send us a friendly portrait and a straight shot. We will select the right Polas. One with your hair down and one with your hair completely out of your face.
medium shot
We also welcome Polas in medium shots or American cuts. Here, you are welcome to show a different facial expression or strike a light, natural pose. Please also remain in your "raw state" and do not alter your appearance in any way, i.e. no make-up, no styling, no filters, etc.
Total
So that we can assess which customers you are best suited to, we would of course like to see you in full. You are welcome to wear high heels in your full-length photos. Make sure that you are completely visible and that your feet, head, hands, etc. are not cut off. Otherwise, you can strike a natural pose or stand straight. It is best to take several pictures to choose from.
profile
A profile distinguishes a person, which is why we also appreciate natural, side-view photos of you. Please ensure that your hair is completely out of your face and, ideally, tied back in a ponytail. Send us photos of your face profile and your body profile. You can choose from a range of options (90 degrees, 45 degrees, etc.).
bikini
If you would also like to work in lingerie or swimwear, we will of course need pictures of you in which we and our customers can see your body. Therefore, please send us all of the above areas as underwear or bikini polaroids. Again, make sure you are wearing neutral clothing. Please again no make-up, no styling, no filters and in front of a plain, light-coloured background.
body parts
Under certain conditions, you can also work as a body part model. We mainly represent body part models in the areas of hands and arms as well as feet and legs. To do this, you must have extremely clear skin and well-manicured nails. You should also have well-shaped fingers and toes. If you would like to work in this area, you will of course need polaroids.
Male models
All of the above also apply to our male models. Please come without make-up, unstyled, without filters, wearing tight-fitting clothing and standing in front of a neutral background. If necessary, you can wear boxer shorts and show body parts. What you don't need: high heels ;)
